Mario Giuliacci, “what will happen in November”: Italy, forecasts upset

what will happen in November": Italy, forecasts upset

Online Desk:

After a very hot summer and an autumn that took a long time to arrive, we should now be in full swing. And after weeks of mild weather, November is about to arrive and perhaps even cold and bad weather . According to what Colonel Mario Giuliacci reports on his weather forecast website , after the famous “ottobrata”, at least in northern Italy, the real autumn climate will finally arrive.

In particular, according to the meteorologist, the first part of the month will be characterized by the passage of rainfall disturbances which will be concentrated above all in the Centre-North. The rains will be accompanied by rather cold currents which, therefore, will lay the foundations for heavy snowfalls in the Alpine areas up to altitudes of around 1000 metres. But when will all this start? Definitely starting from the weekend of Saturday 4th – Sunday 5th November .

Meanwhile, today Monday 30 October “Italy will be hit by a  violent wave of bad weather  with the risk of having real storms in some areas of our country due to a disturbance arriving from Northern Europe”, warns Giuliacci. “On Monday, cold and unstable currents coming from Northern Europe will enter from the Rhone Gate and could form a dangerous cyclone with inevitable consequences for Italy. As the depression area approaches our country it will attract mild winds from the south and which, crossing the basin The Mediterranean will be filled with humidity, providing fuel for the creation of massive storm cells. We can therefore expect storms in the North-East regions and between Liguria and upper Tuscany with accumulations of rain of up to 150 millimeters in just a few hours.”
