Rome fear at Porta Portese two foreigners wound a man in the jugular

Online Desk:

Terror in the Capital. The Carabinieri of the Roma Trastevere Company arrested two foreign citizens , a 46-year-old Bosnian and a 43-year-old Romanian. They are both homeless and with criminal records . The two foreigners are seriously suspected of the crime of attempted murder against a 46-year-old Bosnian man, also homeless. The criminal incident occurred in Via Portese on the afternoon of Wednesday 18 October, when some calls to 112 reported the presence of an injured man  in the Porta Portese area . The Carabinieri of the Operations Unit and those of the Roma Trastevere station immediately intervened on site.

As Secolo d’Italia reports , the man, in very serious conditions, was on the ground with a bleeding wound to his throat . From the immediate investigations it emerged that the quarrel between the three had arisen for trivial reasons. All were in a state of alteration , probably due to alcohol intake. According to the reconstruction of the police, the 46-year-old would have smashed a glass bottle and with a shard would have hit the victim in the neck, at the level of the jugular, while the 43-year-old blocked him by holding him by the wrists.

The victim is currently in code red at the San Camillo-Forlanini hospital where the 118 staff immediately transported him. She is still under guard while the two suspects were blocked and taken to prison. The arrests were validated by the Court of Rome: the 46-year-old will remain in prison while the 43-year-old was released pending trial.
